Rossi Amaro Istriano
Tasting Notes: "If you are a lover and collector of amaro, the bitter herbal liqueur produced primarily in Italy, here's one to add to your collection. This Amaro Istriano comes from Croatia, from Rossi Winery that is known for producing an array of well made white and red wines from local varieties Malvasia and Teran. The Rossi Amaro is made by macerating roots, herbs and green walnuts in a fermented grape skin pomace which is then blended and matured in oak casks. The resulting rich, bitter sweet elixir clocks in at 28% alcohol and is best enjoyed neat or with a slice of lemon." Janet Dorozynsky (WineAlign)
Serving Recommendation: Neat or on the rocks, with a slice of orange or lemon.
